Electrostatic Spray Powder
Polycote's Electrostatic powder spray guns
direct the flow of powder
control the deposition rate
control the pattern size, shape, and density of the spray
charge the powder being sprayed
automatic, fixed, and mounted both sides of a conveyorized spray booth.
The advantage of electrostatically charged powder is that it is free to deposit an even layer over the entire surface of the part, and deposition into recesses is improved.
On larger stampings, Polycote has proven time and time again to have a significant price advantage to its customers over it's the traditional E-coat process. Polycote's electrostatic spray also offers corrosion protection unmatched by E-coat. The company can offer its customers a film thickness from 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm. Surface scratches that occur with E-coat do not result with the durability and thickness of Polycotes offers from its electrostatic spray processes.
Products include:
Small and large Stampings
seat risers
brake parts
brake shoes
spring wires
Fluidized Dip
Polycote offers both the conventional and electrostatic fluidized bed coating process. For complex shaped products, the fluidized bed powder coating method can uniformly apply heavy coats in one dip. In multiple dips using higher preheat temperatures, it is possible to build a film thickness of 100 mils (2500 µm).
Products include:
Spring wires
Straps
stampings
Plastersol and PVC

PVC-Plastisol Dip Coating involves dipping preheated parts into liquid plastisol followed by a postheat cure. Plastisol has excellent resistance to corrosion, anti-rattle properties and proves to be protective and resilient. A film thickness of .1 mm to 12.5 mm can be achieved and is an advantage regarding on-site materials handling.
Products include:
Car lock parts
suspension parts
fixtures
Sandblast
The cleaning process of removing materials with high pressure air and sand is SandBlasting. Polycote uses this process for effectively cleaning, finishing, deburring, blending and stress relieving of any part that is hard. This process removes slag, rust, imperfections in steel as a preparation for various coatings.
Polycote is capable of sandblasting steel, iron, copper, brass, aluminum and glass. The company also has the ability to sandblast new or old materials, remove rust, paints, stains and glues. As well, Polycote offers the SandBlasting process to customers with various materials such as fabricated parts, structural steel, castings, pipe fittings, auto body parts and machine tools parts.
Vibratory Finish
Polycote completes their services to customers by finishing parts with Vibratory Finish. Polycote's equipment is capable of producing different surface finishes to customer specification. Vibratory Finish is an excellent alternative to the more expensive hand polished method, and can easily achieve a bright shiny pre-finish prior to plating or after coating.
Added Services
In conjunction with our powder coating services, Polycote extends its services to customers in any way it can. Polycote realizes the importance of customer service and can accommodate your Sorting , Packaging , Labelling , and Sub-Assembly needs. Sub-Assembly can save the customer time and money and for many customers in this busy economy, sub-assembly is a must.
