Polycote Technology
Polycote boasts an extensive equipment line that is at the leading edge of coating technology. Our new 50,000 foot facility houses 7 different lines and has the ability to coat even the most complex parts to specific performance requirements.
Two processes use powder thermoplastic and thermosetting resins; these are the fluid-bed and electrostatic spray lines. The third is plastisol dipping involving a liquid PVC compound. A total of four unique coating lines, designed and build in-house are currently in operation, and together with efficient fixturing, enable the company to offer competitive pricing without compromising quality.

Equipment List
Two automated electrostatic powder coating lines allow us to offer a less expensive alternative to E-coat while still exceeding part wear and durability specifications. The resins we are currently powder spraying are:
Epoxy Hybrid
Polyester
Polyurethane
Nylon
Three Fluidized Bed and Dip lines allow us to coat localized sections of parts while maintaining an accurate coating trim line. This application is widely used to help reduce metal on metal wear and assist in noise dampening. Dip and Fluidized bed materials include:
Epoxy Hybrid
Plastisol
Polyurethane
Nylon
State-of-the-Art vibratory, sandblasting, sorting and assembly machinery (pneumatic and hydraulic capabilities) are also on location.
Polycote provides many technologically advantages to the traditional coating processes.
Fixed guns – repeatability of process, coating thickness
Part hooks burned off during each run and new hooks used for each subsequent run à dramatically reduces hook marks on coating)
Tagging of parts on line
Masking of parts on-line
Masking of parts on-line after wash cycle
Quick response to change-overs
Bar Code labelling capabilities à labelling to suit your specific customers needs/OEM, packaging can be connected to your systems
Packaging Design capabilities à Kanban packaging and other
Highly skilled Metallurgists and Electrical and Chemical Engineers on staff
